Good News/Bad News?

We’ll start with the bad:


Due to a scheduling conflict, Tommy and the Babies will be rescheduling their performances in Harrisburg, Albany, and Wilkes-Barre. We are so very sorry for the inconvenience but these shows WILL BE rescheduled ASAP so keep an ear out for an announcement soon.


Now on to THE GOOD NEWS!!:


We have three new shows to announce! American Babies will be returning to NYC’s Living Room on April 29th and making their first appearances at Boston’s Middle East and the Sellersville Theatre in Pennsylvania on April 30th and June 16th respectively.

Wilkes-Barre Resceduled

We’re happy to announce that we have rescheduled our show at Wilkes-Barre’s River Street Jazz Cafe for May 22nd. Spread the word!!


This week brings the Babies to NYC, Boston, and Asbury Park, NJ (Bruce!!) on April 29th - May 1st respectively. Check the tour page for details.

Summer Tour Dates!!

Spring saw some fun things for Tommy and the Babies; the release of the WEIGHT OF THE WORLD EP with an amazing party in our hometown, a few solo-acoustic performances, and some inspired playing as we bring our new EP to the stage.


This summer we’re gonna keep it going with a slew of shows in the North East. Highlights include a co-headlining run with our West Coast buddies Big Light, support slots for Tea Leaf Green, and Umphrey’s McGee, and a Rocks Off Boat Cruise around NYC.

October Residency in Harrisburg

As  Fall  comes  creeping in the Babies  find  themselves taking a  few  weeks to relax, write, and rehearse. Fortunately this is only for a  few  weeks.


We’re happy to announce that we will be returning to Harrisburg, PA’s Abbey Bar for three Wednesdays in October (6th, 13th, and 27th) as we dig in and have some fun at our favorite Central Pennsylvania club.


There  will  be a  hometown  throwdown  as  well when we support Jackie Greene at World Cafe Live and finally, Oct 20th  brings  American Babies  back to NYC’s Rockwood Music Hall  as a part of the  CMJ Music Conference.

Holidays in the Boroughs As we gear up for a heavy 2011 we are going to close out 2010 with two special shows in our favorite boroughs of NYC. December 22 brings the Babies to Manhattan's Bowery Electric with fellow Philadelphians Hoots and Hellmouth for a Pre-Christmas blowout. Then five days later we find our way over the Williamsburg Bridge to play our favorite venue in the country, Brooklyn Bowl where we will be having a very special American Babies Alumni Holiday Show!! We will be bringing out a bunch of our friends who have played in the band over the last few years to run through some old tunes, new tunes, and a healthy dose of our favorite covers. New Single/ New Album Our good friends at Under The Radar were nice enough to help us spread the news that American Babies’ next LP will be called “Flawed Logic” and will be released April 19th on Engine Room Recordings. They exclusively released the single “Dance All Night” so shoot on over and check it out! In celebration we will be hosting FOUR DIFFERENT ALBUM RELEASE PARTIES around the mid - Atlantic region and then hitting the road to bring “Flawed Logic” to the masses.
